The 2008 Tennessee Judo Championships were hosted by Columbia Judo on Feb 16th. Overall the event was a success with 191 registered fighters.
Members of Columbia Judo also placed well at the tournament. Christopher Amick : GOLD. Mike Westcott : GOLD. Elliot Hogan : GOLD Logan Smith : GOLD Jeff Payne :SILVER Derek Wilson : BRONZE Sam Smith : BRONZE Affiliate members of Columbia Judo also placed well. Sam Gaskin : GOLD and SILVER. Matt Lentz: GOLD. Thanks to all those club members who helped make the tournament a success, especially Mike Smith and Joe Pickering who forfeited the opportunity to defend the medals they won last year in order to help run the show. |
